Purple Blocks

Well, the block set is over 150 pieces, now.

The dark purple doorway arches and the little orange ramps are based on another Grimm’s Spiel & Holz set- they make truly beautiful blocks.

Cutting out the mini rainbow left a nice off center arch.

Everything else was just making use of the odd shaped scraps around those cuts (and around a big ugly knot in this plank).

They are really fun to play with- not so fun to have to put away, though- they make a BIG (colorful!) mess.
